Save yourself a couple of bad years and do what you like, now

Sylvain Carle, CTO of Praized Media, did a fantastic presentation at CUSEC (Canadian University Software Engineering Conference) recommending students to do startups. The title of this post is one of his slides.

Sylvain Carle - Save yourself a couple of bad years and do what you like, now!

Like Sylvain, we believe Canada has some unique benefits for startups. CUSEC appears to have been a great event — Tim Bray attended and has a blog post praising it.

I first saw these slides via Tris Hussey at Maple Leaf 2.0, who also blogged about our attendance at the Founders and Funders dinner in Toronto. Technically, we should be on the founders and funders list :P . Looking forward to hanging out with folks in Toronto…
